About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

Do I need a piercing to wear this ear cuff?
No. The cuff slips onto the edge of the ear and stays put by its grip — no piercing needed. Wear it on either ear, on its own or paired with an earring.
How much does the cuff weigh, and how does it sit on the ear?
The Blade cuff (M) is 1.6 grams of 925 sterling silver, size M. It is light and almost imperceptible on the ear. A measured proportion: visible, but with no pressure.
What does the CNC aesthetic in BLADE mean?
BLADE is the aesthetic of CNC-milled sheet metal: the form is cut from a flat sheet, leaving even planes and clean edges. The cuff itself is silver — we are describing this kind of form, not the material of the sheet.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. To return the metal to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
