The fourth form of the brand — architecture in silver. BRUTALISM is an exploration of Soviet brutalist aesthetics under the influence of Suprematism. Today it is the heaviest and most massive rings in the brand, and ear cuffs; the range will grow.

An ear cuff in 925 sterling silver, 3.8 grams, worn without a piercing. Eight flat plates stand in a row along a smooth, waisted band. Size L is the V.1 form at full scale. The price is $160 (Rp 2,850,000); each cuff is made to order in about two weeks.
The plates carry the whole design. They are square-cut, parallel, set at even gaps on one side of the band, and they read as a comb from the front and as the ribs of a concrete slab from the side. The rest of the cuff stays plain: a curve that narrows at the waist and grips the ear by its own spring.
BRUTALISM is built on variations developed with an architect. V.1 is one of those variations, not a step in a series — V.2 lays its plates horizontally, V.3 steps them out at different lengths. Cast from a wax model in 925 silver and finished by hand, with a Living Silver surface.

Who this cuff is for
The L is the loud one. At 3.8 grams and full scale it sits on the edge of the ear as a visible object, not as a detail — the comb of plates catches light from a few steps away. It suits an ear worn on its own, without earrings competing next to it, and it works on either ear.
It also stacks. On the photograph it is worn under a darkened cuff higher up the ear: light silver below, black above, the same architecture twice. If you want the form present but quieter, take the M at 1.6 grams — the same comb, half the weight, $125.
What it is not: a piece for someone who wants silver to stay bright without care. This cuff darkens, and the gaps between the plates darken first.

Do I need pierced ears to wear this cuff?
No. The cuff goes on without a piercing: it wraps the edge of the ear and holds by its form. It works on a pierced or an unpierced ear alike.
How much does the cuff weigh, and how does size L differ from M?
The cuff is 3.8 grams of 925 sterling silver. This is the full size L: the V.1 form reads at full scale. There is also a smaller version, size M: 1.6 grams and $125 against 3.8 grams and $160 for the L. People choose L when they want a large, present object on the ear.
How is V.1 different from V.2 and V.3?
By the way the plates are set. V.1 stands eight plates vertically in an even comb. V.2 lays them horizontally in two offset rows, like the floors of a building. V.3 steps them out at different lengths. The band is the same on all three: smooth, narrowed at the waist.
