Quartz Crystal Jewelry
Quartz as a main stone
Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the earth's crust, which is exactly why it is usually treated as filler. Set raw and large, it stops being filler: at this scale you are looking at the crystal's own geometry rather than at a cut someone imposed on it.
Four necklaces here, from 9 to 40 grams.
Four colours, one mineral
Green, brown, clear — the variation comes from trace elements and irradiation during growth, not from treatment afterwards. Clear quartz is the base form; the coloured varieties are the same silicon dioxide with something else caught inside.
Each stone here kept its growth faces and terminations. None were cut to a standard.
Weight and scale
From 9 grams to 40 — a factor of over four, and at the heavy end the stone dominates the piece entirely. The silver is reduced to what the crystal needs to hang correctly.
All four carry the Classic Amulet form: the stone held open, silver kept to a minimum.
Every piece is numbered
The number in the title is the running count of that model. Each necklace holds one specific crystal, and when it sells, that stone does not exist twice.
What we do not claim
We do not sell energy, amplification, cleansing or healing. Quartz carries more folklore than any other stone, and all of it is cultural history rather than a property of the object. Meaning is something you bring.
Care
No ultrasonic cleaning — raw quartz keeps internal fractures that cutting would have removed. Cloth or silver cleaner on the metal, keeping liquid off the stone. Take the piece off before the pool.
Frequently asked questions
Why use quartz as a main stone?
Set raw and large, quartz shows its own growth geometry rather than a cut imposed on it. At 40 grams the stone dominates the piece.
Where do the colours come from?
Trace elements and irradiation during growth, not treatment afterwards. Clear quartz is the base form of the same silicon dioxide.
Are the crystals cut?
No. Each kept its growth faces and terminations, set in the shape it formed in.
How heavy are they?
From 9 to 40 grams. The silver is reduced to what the crystal needs to hang correctly.
Do these stones have properties?
Not that we will claim. Quartz carries more folklore than any other stone, and all of it is cultural history rather than a property of the object.
How do I clean them?
Cloth or silver cleaner on the metal, no ultrasonic cleaning. Raw quartz keeps internal fractures that ultrasound would find.
