BRUTALISM is STRUGA's design code for silver architecture, developed with an architect: thick edges, aggressive angles, unfinished surfaces. V.3 is one of the forms within the language — its own geometry, not a step in a progression. A wax model, a silicone form, 925 silver, and hand finishing. Living Silver finish: recesses darken over time, raised planes stay bright from wear.

How much does the cuff weigh and how does it sit on the ear?
The Brutalism Ear Cuff V.3 is 3.8 grams of 925 sterling silver, size L, running the full height of the ear. For a cuff, that is noticeable mass: the object makes itself felt, yet it holds on the ear rather than hanging from a piercing.
Do I need a piercing to wear this cuff?
No piercing is needed. The cuff goes onto the outside of the ear and holds by its form. It is an object worn at the height of the face, without any hole through the lobe.
What do size L and the V.3 form mean?
L is the full size: the cuff takes up the ear at its full height rather than sitting as a small detail on the edge. V.3 is one of the forms within the BRUTALISM language, with its own geometry — not a third step in a sequence of versions.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief go dark while friction lightens the raised edges. On this brutal geometry, with its deep facets, the patina reads well. Patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Do not use harsh chemicals or ultrasonic baths.
