An unpolished green tourmaline in the small Thorn Amulet — moss-green, changing shade with the angle of the light.
Green tourmaline carries a warmer, earth-bound colour in this piece; at different angles the crystal shifts between deep moss and olive, never fixed. Tourmaline has been worn as a grounding stone for centuries — a mineral that stays in contact with the skin. The silver torpedo is cast in 925, cut diagonally across the body, the crystal placed in the opening without facets or prongs. Handmade.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface of the torpedo is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lifts the raised edges back to light. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can return the metal to the light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. The stone does not darken in the process. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
