About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

No. The cuff sits on the edge of the ear without a piercing — it grips lightly and holds on its own. It works just as well for ears that aren't pierced.

Yes. Because they're small, the cuffs can be lined up along the edge of the ear or paired with pierced STRUGA earrings. A single cuff works as one mark; several read as a set.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief go darker, while friction lightens the raised edges. On a small surface the patina reads more softly, but it's the same property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
