THORN is the design code born from STRUGA's earliest CNC work: links with sharp edges, industrial geometry, the same family as THORN bracelets and chains. On the ear, the form becomes a compact architectural brace, edges deliberately sharp — the cuff makes its presence known without asking for attention. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. Do I need a piercing to wear the cuff?
No. The cuff sits on the upper edge of the ear with no piercing required: gently press the band to the ear and it holds its shape. It comes off just as easily.
How much does the cuff weigh, and how does it feel on the ear?
The THORN cuff is 2.6 g of 925 sterling silver, size L. It is light, and you barely feel its weight on the ear. The edges are deliberately sharp — THORN lightly pricks the skin and keeps making itself noticed.
How does size L differ from the smaller cuffs?
