How much does the cuff weigh, and do I need a piercing?
The cuff weighs 0.3 grams — it is carbon, the lightest material in the STRUGA range. No piercing is needed: the cuff holds its place by gripping the rim of the ear. You barely feel the weight, so it can be worn all day.
Is it silver or carbon?
It is carbon, not silver. Multi-layer matte carbon in the Classic Graphite palette — STRUGA's own material, the one the brand began with. STRUGA's silver is Living Silver and darkens over time; carbon stays as it is: even in colour, with no patina.
Does carbon darken or change colour over time?
No. Unlike silver, carbon does not develop a patina and does not change colour. It is unaffected by water and does not react to air or skin, so it needs none of the care that Living Silver does. A wipe with a soft cloth is enough.
