Frequently asked questions
Do I need a piercing to wear the cuff?
No. The cuff sits on the edge of the ear and holds by the band's own tension — no piercing required. It can be worn on either ear.
How much does the cuff weigh, and how visible is it?
The cuff weighs just 0.3 grams: carbon is extremely light, so on the ear you barely feel it. At the same time, size L is the largest of the three, and the form reads clearly — it shows on the ear as a pale, matte mark in the Arctic Graphite palette.
What is the cuff made of — is it silver?
No, it is carbon — multi-layer matte carbon in the Arctic Graphite palette, a cold white-blue graphite. The form is SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC, the brand's first form: here it is rendered in the lightest material in the line and carried onto the ear.
Does carbon darken or change over time?
No. Unlike STRUGA's silver, which lives and gathers patina, carbon is the counterweight: it is unbothered by water and does not change over time. The object stays exactly as it arrived. Care is simple — wipe it with a soft cloth. There is no need for harsh chemicals or ultrasonic baths.
What is the SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC family?
SIGNATURE ASYMMETRIC is STRUGA's first numbered form, from the CODEX world. The brand began here: a single asymmetric form carried through different objects — rings, bracelets, chains, necklaces, carabiner clasps. The aesthetic came out of CNC machining of sheet material: sharp edges, flat planes, recessed cuts. This cuff carries that same form, cut from sheet carbon.
