Frequently asked questions
How much does the earring weigh, and how does it sit in the ear?
Solid Heart is 5.9 grams of 925 sterling silver per ear. The heart is filled solid, so it reads as substantial yet compact. It wears comfortably and holds its shape.
Is this a single earring or a pair?
This is a mono object: the price is for one earring. Wear it in a single ear as a standalone accent, or build it into a pair — the choice is yours.
How does Solid Heart differ from STRUGA's other hearts?
Solid Heart is the dense, fully filled version of the STRUGA heart: a solid silver volume with no cut-outs or hollows. Other objects in the SIGNATURE HEART family resolve the form differently — as a light heart, a lock, or a tiny stud. Here the form is read first through its volume.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. Patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back toward the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Do not use harsh chemicals or ultrasonic baths.
What is the SIGNATURE HEART family?
SIGNATURE HEART is STRUGA's fifth form — the brand's own heart: half smooth, half angular, two different hearts brought into one. The family holds several readings of this form, from a light heart to the dense Solid Heart and a tiny stud.
