Frequently asked questions
How much does the earring weigh, and how is it worn?
The earring is 3.9 grams of 925 sterling silver. The body is mid-sized and the cylinder is compact for everyday wear. It is a single earring — worn in one ear, on its own or paired with other STRUGA silver.
What is the stone, and why is it pink?
It is a natural pink tourmaline — rubellite, the red-pink reading of tourmaline. The color comes from manganese that entered the crystal as it grew. The stone is uncut and wild-grown: it was never faceted, and its form is exactly the way it grew.
Is each earring unique?
Yes. The stone is uncut, and each one carries its own pattern, color, and form — so every piece is one of a kind. This earring is #27, set with pink tourmaline, in size M.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care — a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid aggressive chemicals and ultrasonic baths; wash the stone gently.
What is the AMULET family?
AMULET is a STRUGA family from the RITUAL world: earrings and necklaces with uncut, wild-grown stones. The family holds three types; Classic is a silver cylinder with a stone set into it. Here the stone is described as material and form — with no promise of any effect. Handcrafted in Bali, Indonesia.
