Roman mariners called aquamarine The Sailor's Stone — a piece of Neptune's ocean crystallised into portable form. It is a beryl, kin to emerald and morganite, coloured by traces of iron. At size L the Classic Amulet stretches to display a full crystal the way an Arsham artefact displays what time has grown through it. Hand-picked, no polishing, no setting. 925 silver, handmade in the workshop.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in our Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver, naturally oxidized or hand-patinated. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

L is the largest cylinder in the Classic Amulet line. It carries more silver, and the aquamarine is shown whole, at full scale. The earring weighs 5.5 grams of 925 sterling silver.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 sterling silver with no rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief go dark, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to light with care — a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Do not scrub the stone with a brush, and avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
