Frequently asked questions
How much does the earring weigh, and how is it worn?
The amulet earring is 2.5 grams of 925 sterling silver. It is light, and the ear barely registers it. This is a single earring: wear it in one ear as a standalone object, or pair it with other STRUGA silver.
Is this one piece, or are there several identical ones?
There is only one stone like this. The green tourmaline is uncut and wild-grown: its color, shape and character do not repeat. The silver setting is cast to form, but it is the stone that makes this the only piece of its kind.
Why are there striations and irregularities on the stone?
The tourmaline here is uncut — a wild-grown stone. The crystal keeps the lengthwise striation of its natural growth, a trace that faceting would have erased. This is the form of the stone, not damage.
Why does the silver darken, and how should it be cared for?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The earring arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. The patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with simple care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths — they are harmful near the stone.
What is the AMULET family and the Classic type?
AMULET is a STRUGA family from the RITUAL world: earrings and necklaces built around uncut, wild-grown stones. Within the family there is the Classic type — a quiet silver cylinder, minimalism read through a Japanese sensibility, that holds the stone without arguing with it. This earring is a Classic with green tourmaline.
