No. The cuff goes on without a piercing: it wraps the edge of the ear and holds by its form. It works on a pierced or an unpierced ear alike.

The cuff is 3.8 grams of 925 sterling silver. This is the full size L: the V.1 form reads at full scale. There is also a smaller version, size M; people choose L when they want a large, present object on the ear.

The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver with no rhodium plating. The cuff arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, friction lightens the raised edges.
