Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver without rhodium plating. The bracelet arrives light and darkens with air and skin contact: the recesses of the relief darken while friction lightens the raised edges. On the flat links of BLADE this contrast reads especially clearly. Patina is a property, not a defect. You can bring the metal back to the light with care: a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
What is the BLADE family?
BLADE is the second form of STRUGA, from the CODEX world. It began with a single chain link: flat planes and sharp edges, as if cut from a sheet on a CNC mill. The link is assembled from two halves on copper pins and soldered into one piece. For STRUGA, BLADE is CNC aesthetics in silver.
