AMULET — STRUGA earrings and necklaces built around raw, wild-growth stones. The amulets of this family differ widely — from quiet and classic, a Japanese reading of minimalism, to large and declarative. The most expressive is the THORN amulet: a halved-torpedo form with a crystal grown inside; an homage to Daniel Arsham.

A single 925 silver earring with a raw pink tourmaline, S frame, 3.5 g. Third in the Amulet series and the first to change the stone. One-of-one — this exact piece is sold.
The earring is built in two parts. Above sits a narrow silver huggie with four short thorns and STRUGA engraved along its face. Below it, on a jump ring, hangs the amulet: a small silver torpedo cut open on the diagonal, with the crystal standing in the opening.
#1 and #2 in the series held aquamarine. #3 moves to tourmaline, in the same S-size split Thorn frame. The silver around the cut is bare — over time the recesses darken and the raised planes stay bright, setting the pink deeper against the metal.
This piece was priced at $160, charged as Rp 2,850,000. It was made once and sold. A similar earring can be made through Custom Order.

The stone grew in its own shape and was never cut. It is a hexagonal column, striated down its length, translucent, running from pale at the top to rose at the tip. Tourmaline takes its colour from the metals held inside the crystal — this is geology, not a promise. Where the column broke off, that face stays matte against the polished silver.
925 silver is 92.5% pure silver. At 3.5 grams the S frame is the lightest reading of the model, and the ear barely registers it.
How it is made: the silver form is modelled first, in 3D or by hand in wax. A silicone mould is taken from that model and the silver is cast. A silversmith then finishes the frame by hand and sets the chosen stone inside it.
