BLADE is a family of the CODEX world, the second form of the brand. It began with a link for a chain: even planes, as if cut from sheet material — a CNC aesthetic, meaning the look, not the method. The link itself is assembled from two halves on copper pins and soldered into one whole. The photograph shows it plainly: two recessed plates, three pins each. Here the link is taken in the small size and hangs on the chain as a pendant.
925 silver is 92.5% pure silver. The 7.06 grams are spread between the chain and the link, so the weight sits almost unnoticed against the chest. The surface is Living Silver, uncoated. Silver darkens from air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen, while friction lightens the raised edges. On the flat planes of the link that contrast reads clearly. Patina is a property, not a defect; care brings the metal back to the light.
How it is made: the form is modelled first — in 3D or by hand in wax. A silicone mould is taken from the wax model and the silver is cast. A silversmith finishes the piece by hand. Made to order, about two weeks.
The chain is long: 75 cm drops the link below the sternum, so the pendant is worn under a collar and over it — on its own or layered with other STRUGA silver.
