The amulets of this family differ widely — from quiet and classic, a Japanese reading of minimalism, to large and declarative. The most expressive is the THORN amulet: a halved-torpedo form with a crystal grown inside; an homage to Daniel Arsham.

A natural pink-grey tourmaline in a small silver cylinder — Classic Amulet reading two tones at once.
Tourmaline's name comes from the Sinhalese toramalli — "mixed-coloured stones" — the word Ceylonese gem miners gave to any pebble they could not identify. Pink-grey is a bicolour reading of the family: manganese pulling towards rose, iron pulling towards stone, neither taking the full crystal. The small Classic cylinder is open at both ends, the crystal visible from every angle. It hangs from a hinged silver hoop that closes inside the lobe. 925 silver, handmade.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in the Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver. Two surfaces exist in the brand and they are not the same thing: Living Silver is 925 left without rhodium plating, which darkens on its own from air and skin, while black oxidation is applied at the bench beforehand. This earring is Living Silver. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

A mono earring is worn on one ear and leaves the other empty. The asymmetry is the point: the object reads as a mark rather than as a matching pair. Classic Amulet #15 was made for someone who watches colour closely — the tourmaline holds pink and grey at once and shifts with the light in the room.
