THE STORY OF THIS PIECE
The fifth form of the brand — STRUGA’s own heart. A recognizable heart: half smooth, half angular, joining two completely different hearts into one. The family runs from a light heart, as if bent from wire, to the Solid Heart, the Heart Lock clasp and a tiny stud — the smallest object in the brand.

A rhythmic run of polished silver beads broken by the SIGNATURE HEART — the Dual Heart as an asymmetric accent in a meditative sequence.
Signature Heart is the Dual Heart — one form holding two characters at once, half smooth, half sharp. Here it breaks the rhythm of beads as a single point of tension. Each bead and the heart are cast separately from a wax model in 925 silver, then assembled by hand. Living Silver finish — recesses will darken, raised surfaces stay bright.

About STRUGA. STRUGA is a dark silver jewelry brand founded by Dmitry Strugovshchikov and Ekaterina Strugovshchikova, handcrafted in the Bali workshop by master silversmiths. Every piece is 925 sterling silver. This bracelet is Living Silver with no coating: the darkening comes from air and skin rather than being applied at the bench. The darkening is part of the design. It is a brutalist object that reacts and changes through contact with the environment and the wearer.

This bracelet is the lightest of the three. Take the choker if you want the same beads on the neck. Take the Big Beads bracelet if you want weight that is felt at every movement.
Who it is for, and when it is worn
The bracelet is made to order and takes about two weeks. STRUGA does not split objects by gender: here the size is taken from the wrist, and the run of small beads reads the same on a wide one and on a narrow one.
It suits everyday wear. Seventeen grams is enough to feel the silver, and little enough to keep on through a working day, a keyboard, a sleeve. The beads sit close and do not swing.
The heart is the reason people give it as a gift — for an anniversary or a first year together — without the object turning sentimental. It stays a piece of silver first.

How is the bracelet made — is it a single cast?
No. Each bead and the heart are cast separately: the form is modelled in 3D or carved by hand in wax, a silicone mould is taken from the wax model, and the silver is cast from it. A maker then assembles the bracelet by hand and finishes it.
Why does the silver darken, and how do I care for it?
The surface is Living Silver — 925 silver with no rhodium plating. The bracelet arrives light and darkens with air and skin: the recesses of the relief deepen while friction lightens the raised edges. Patina is a property, not a defect. To bring the metal back to the light, care for it with a soft cloth or a silver-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and ultrasonic baths.
