Roman mariners called aquamarine The Sailor's Stone — a piece of Neptune's ocean crystallised into portable form. It is a beryl, kin to emerald and morganite, coloured by traces of iron. At size L the Classic Amulet stretches to display a full crystal the way an Arsham artefact displays what time has grown through it. Hand-picked, no polishing, no setting. 925 silver, handmade in Celuk Village, Bali.
