STRUGA
Dark architectural sterling silver from Bali. Direct-to-customer worldwide since 2018. Founded and designed by Dmitry and Ekaterina Strugovshchikov.
The Brand
STRUGA is an independent jewelry house built around dark minimalism, brutalist geometry and Living Silver — uncoated 925 sterling silver that develops its own patina with each wearer. Founded in 2018 by Dmitry and Ekaterina Strugovshchikov — both designers, building the brand together. Every piece is hand-cast and hand-finished in the STRUGA workshop in Bali, Indonesia.
The catalog is built on the principle of design families, not seasonal collections. Pieces enter the system and stay — they are revised, regrouped, extended. Engagement bands and wedding rings live in the Dark Union service; the brand's gift selection is curated in Island Artifacts.

|---|---|---|
| CODEX | 46 | The brand DNA — Signature Asymmetric, Blade, Thorn, Brutalism, Signature Heart; clean architectural forms, daily wear |
| RITUAL | 67 | The dark side — amulets, carbon, mosaic, meteorite, raw wild-growth stones; the dark, ritual language of the brand |
| LAB | 19 | The experiment — pop-art forms, unexpected constructions, the WAGI clothing line |
| DARK UNION | made-to-order | Alternative engagement and wedding bands; brutalist, blackened, custom |
| ISLAND ARTIFACTS | 15 | The brand's gift selection — pieces from the catalog we consider strong as gifts |
Design Families
Eleven design vocabularies repeat across rings, bracelets, chains, earrings and cuffs.
| Family | Pieces | Form language |
|---|---|---|
| Signature Asymmetric | 33 | The first STRUGA form — asymmetric links and pendants |
| Thorn | 7 | A thorn with sharp angles — CNC and 3D-modelling combined; thorn and torpedo aesthetic at once |

| Carbon | 17 | Carbon fiber as the base, with inserts of silver, meteorite, copper, steel and stones |
| Experimental | 17 | WAGI clothing, pop-art crosses, archive prototypes |
| Signature Heart | 9 | Our take on the heart — half smooth, half sharp |

| Fused | 3 | The aesthetic of molten metal — no clear edges, the whole surface melted |
| Dark Union | made-to-order | The ready-to-buy ring line for the engagement and wedding ritual — oxidized, with a wild-growth stone, meteorite or another metal set in |
Materials
925 sterling silver — uncoated. The brand calls this Living Silver: silver allowed to oxidize and patinate naturally with the wearer's skin and body chemistry. No rhodium plating. Patina is reversible with a polishing cloth, but most owners let it deepen.
Carbon fiber composite — a six-palette line of signature carbon (Classic, Bloody, Toxic, Arctic, Winter, Fused Graphite). Multi-layered matte carbon — ultralight, water-safe, unchanged by time; the counterweight to living silver. Used as a structural base and paired with inserts of silver, meteorite, copper, brass, steel and stones.
Seymchan pallasite meteorite — iron-nickel matrix with olivine inclusions, found in 1967 on the Kolyma River. Cut and acid-etched to show the Widmanstätten pattern.
Copper and steel — used alongside silver in Mosaic and Carbon pieces; brings contrast in colour, weight and oxidation behaviour.
Raw wild-growth stones — most often tourmaline, aquamarine and quartz, with heliodor among them. Set the way they came out of the ground — no faceting, no enhancement. For a commission STRUGA can source almost any raw wild-growth stone.
WAGI clothing line (LAB world) — 100% silk oversize garments, hand-sewn in Bali. Currently four pieces in the catalog, expanding.

Production Approach
Every piece begins as a wax model — sketched, modelled and refined before casting. The Bali workshop works with master silversmiths by hand — wax model, silicone mould, 925 silver, hand finishing — combined with a contemporary brutalist design language. Each piece is hand-finished — no industrial polishing, no plating, no anonymous mass-production.
Provenance matters. Every piece carries the STRUGA mark, a serial number and (where relevant) a family code. The catalog evolves slowly — pieces are added when the design is right, removed when they no longer belong.
