Mens Jewelry — Sterling Silver Brutalist Rings, Bracelets & Pendants by STRUGA

Mens Jewelry — Sterling Silver Brutalist Rings, Bracelets & Pendants by STRUGA

Most mens jewelry today gets one thing wrong. Either it tries to disappear — thin chains, polished bands, predictable signets — or it overcompensates with logos and gold-plated noise. I built STRUGA because I wanted the third option. Sterling silver pieces with real mass, architectural geometry, and surfaces that age with the wearer instead of fading. Hand-finished in our Bali workshop, one piece at a time.

This page is the hub for everything we make for men: oxidized silver rings, signet rings, wedding bands, bracelets, chains, and pendants. If you came here looking for one specific category, jump straight to it. If you want to understand how we approach mens jewelry differently, keep reading.

Why Mens Jewelry Is Different

A mens piece carries weight a womens piece does not have to. Hands are larger, wrists are wider, necklines sit differently against the collarbone, and most men wear far fewer pieces — so each one has to earn its place. A 4 mm band that looks delicate on a slim finger looks lost on a size 12. A pendant that reads as a statement on a 16-inch necklace becomes invisible on a 24-inch chain. We design with this scale in mind from the first sketch.

The other difference is daily wear. Most of our customers do not take their pieces off. They shower in them, work in them, train in them. That demands solid sterling silver — not plated, not hollow, not lacquered. It also demands a finish that does not require constant polishing. Our oxidized Living Silver finish does exactly that: the recesses stay dark, the high points slowly polish themselves through wear, and the piece looks better at year five than it did on day one.

How STRUGA Approaches Mens Pieces

I am the maker. I sketch every form, prototype it, wear it for weeks, and revise it until it feels right on a real hand or wrist. Then our Bali silversmiths fabricate each piece by hand — no mass casting from a mold, no third-party manufacturing. The result is jewelry that has variation. Two of the same ring will not be identical down to the last ridge. They will share a soul, but each one carries the hand of the artisan who finished it.

Three families anchor the mens collection. Brutalism is mass and geometry — heavy bands, blocky signets, raw architectural surfaces. Blade is edge and line — sharper profiles, faceted shoulders, pieces that catch light along a single ridge. Thorn is texture — irregular surfaces, organic ridges, pieces that feel grown rather than made. Most men I have dressed end up mixing all three.

The Mens Categories — Quick Tour

Rings

The widest collection. Statement bands from 6 to 14 mm wide, signet rings with carved or smooth faces, brutalist rings with sculptural form, and minimal stackers for men who prefer something subtler. See the full mens rings collection or read the mens silver rings guide for sizing and style notes. Wedding-specific options live in wedding bands, with paired sets through Dark Union.

Signet Rings

The classic mens piece, reworked. Our signet rings reject the polished oval-on-a-thin-shank template and instead build mass into the shank itself. The face can be smooth (ready for engraving), carved with one of our brutalist motifs, or set with a stone. Sizes typically run from US 8 to US 13, and we resize most rings up or down by one size at no charge.

Bracelets and Cuffs

Architectural cuffs in 8 to 16 mm widths, link bracelets with substantial mass, and minimal bangles for layering. Our bracelets collection covers the range. Mens wrist circumferences vary widely — we ask for a measurement and adjust before shipping.

Chains and Pendants

Heavyweight curb chains, anchor links, box chains, and our signature carabiner-clasp chains. Lengths run from 18 to 24 inches. See the chains collection for the full lineup. Pendants include brutalist crosses, geometric medallions, and meteorite slices set in hand-fabricated bezels.

Carbon and Mixed-Material Pieces

For men who want something beyond pure silver, our carbon fiber and silver rings combine forged carbon with sterling silver detailing. Lighter than pure silver, completely modern, and a fixture in our RITUAL collection. The brutalist jewelry guide covers the design philosophy in depth.

Sizing and Weight Basics

Two numbers matter when you are shopping mens jewelry online: ring size and piece weight. Ring size we handle through a simple sizing kit on request, or by sending us your existing ring inner diameter in millimeters. Weight tells you how the piece will feel — anything under 8 grams reads as light, 8 to 15 grams is balanced, and above 15 grams has real presence. Our heaviest mens rings hit 28 to 35 grams. That is intentional. Mass is part of the design language.

For chains, we list both length and link gauge. A 22-inch curb chain at 6 mm gauge weighs roughly 60 grams. The same length at 4 mm weighs about 30. Both look serious; one feels more architectural in person.

Custom Options for Mens Pieces

Maybe two-thirds of our mens orders involve some level of customization. Custom signet faces with monograms or family crests. Wedding bands with engraved coordinates inside. Pendants built around a stone the customer already owns. Resizing existing rings up or down. We handle all of this through our Bali custom workshop. Lead time is typically four to six weeks, and we walk you through every stage with photographs.

FAQ — Mens Jewelry by STRUGA

What metal do you use for mens jewelry?

Solid 925 sterling silver, oxidized to our Living Silver finish. We do not plate. We do not lacquer. We do not use silver-fill or hollow tubing. Every piece is sterling through and through, which is why pieces hold up to daily wear and can be repolished or re-oxidized over time.

Will the oxidized finish wear off?

The high points lighten with wear — that is the point. Recessed areas hold the dark patina indefinitely. After a few years of daily wear, your piece will have a contrast between bright high points and dark recesses that no factory finish can replicate. If you ever want to refresh the patina, we re-oxidize for free at our workshop.

How heavy are mens STRUGA rings?

Most mens rings sit between 12 and 30 grams depending on width and design. The brutalist statement rings are the heaviest; minimal stackers and slim bands sit lighter. Each product page lists weight per size since heavier rings get heavier in larger sizes.

Can I shower and swim in STRUGA jewelry?

Sterling silver handles fresh water without issue, including showers. Avoid prolonged exposure to chlorinated pools and salt water — both accelerate tarnish. Salt sweat from training is fine and actually helps the patina settle. Wipe pieces dry after exposure to chlorine if you do swim.

Do you offer ring resizing?

Yes — one free resize per ring within the first year, up or down by one size. Beyond that we charge a small fee. Some rings with stone settings or specific structural elements cannot be resized; those are flagged on the product page.

What is the difference between Brutalism, Blade, and Thorn?

Brutalism is about mass and geometric block forms. Blade is about edges, ridges, and faceted profiles. Thorn is about textured, organic surfaces. All three coexist in the mens collection, and most customers end up with at least one piece from each family. The brutalist jewelry guide goes deeper into the design language.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, worldwide. We ship from Bali for international orders and offer DDP (duties paid) options for the EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Japan. Standard transit is five to ten business days; express is two to four.
